stamps, coins, play, the piano, draw, dance, swim, sing, play
basketball, play soccer, play chess, play puter games。

三、教学重点和教学难点:
教学重点:学习和运用"What's your hobby?"和"I "的句型,掌握并运用与爱好相关的词汇和短语。
教学难点:学生能够用英语表达自己的爱好,并能够进行简单的交流。
四、学情分析:
学生是外研版小学英语六年级的学生,已经具备了一定的英
语基础,能够简单地用英语进行简单的交流。他们对于学习新的单词和句型具有一定的接受能力,但在口语表达和运用方面还存在一定的困难。
五、教学过程:
Step 1: Warmup
Greet the students and ask them how they are doing.
Review the previous lesson by asking some questions about
hobbies, such as "What's your hobby?" and "Do you like playing
soccer?"
Example:
Teacher: Good morning, class! How are you today?
Students: Good morning, teacher! We're fine, thank you.
Teacher: Great! So, let's talk about hobbies. What's your hobby,
Sarah?
Sarah: My hobby is drawing.
Teacher: That's wonderful! And what about you, Jack? Do you
like playing soccer?
Step 2: Presentation
Introduce the new vocabulary: hobby, collect, stamps, coins,
play, the piano, draw, dance, swim, sing, play basketball, play
soccer, play chess, play puter games.
Use pictures or real objects to help students understand the
meaning of each word.
Model the pronunciation and have students repeat after you.
Example:
Teacher: Today, we're going to learn some new words related to
hobbies. The first word is "hobby." Can you all say "hobby"?
Students: Hobby.
Teacher: Excellent! Now, let's look at the word "collect." It
means to gather things that you like. For example, some people
collect stamps or coins. Can you say "collect"?
Students: Collect.
Teacher: Well done! Let's continue with the other words.
Step 3: Practice
Play a game of "Guess the Hobby":
Show a picture of a hobby and have students guess what it
is.
Give hints and encourage students to use the target
language to describe the hobby.
Repeat with different hobbies.
Example:
Teacher: Now, it's time to play a game called "Guess the
Hobby." I'll show you a picture, and you have to guess the
hobby. Are you ready? Here's the first picture. What hobby is
this?
Students: (Raise hands) It's playing the piano!
Teacher: That's correct! Playing the piano is the hobby in the
picture. Can anyone tell me why playing the piano is a hobby?
Students: Because it's fun and you can make music.
Teacher: Exactly! Now, let's move on to the next picture.
Pair work:
Have students work in pairs and ask each other about their
hobbies using the question "What's your hobby?" and respond
with "I ".
Encourage students to ask followup questions, such as
"How often ?" or "Where ?" to get more
information.
Example:
Teacher: Now, I want you to work with a partner. Ask each other
about your hobbies using the question "What's your hobby?"
and respond with "I " For example, I'll ask Jack,
"What's your hobby?" and he'll say, "I like playing basketball."
Let's practice with a partner.
Step 4: Production
Divide the class into small groups and assign each group a
hobby.
Have students discuss and plan a short roleplay or
presentation about their assigned hobby.
Give students time to prepare and practice their roleplays or
presentations.
Have each group perform their roleplay or presentation in
front of the class.
Example:
Teacher: Now, I'm going to divide you into small groups. Each
group will have a different hobby to talk about. Take some time
to discuss and plan a short roleplay or presentation about your
assigned hobby. You can use the target language we've learned
today. When you're ready, you'll perform in front of the class.
Step 5: Consolidation
Review the key vocabulary and phrases by playing a quick
game of "Simon Says" using the target language.
Have a class discussion about different hobbies and ask
students to share something new they learned about a hobby
today.
Example:
Teacher: Let's review the key vocabulary and phrases we've
learned today. We'll play a game of "Simon Says." If I say "Simon
says, 'play the piano'," you should all do the action. If I don't say
"Simon says" before the action, you shouldn't do it. Are you
ready?
Students: Yes!
Teacher: Simon says, "collect stamps." (Students mimic
collecting stamps)
Teacher: Play basketball. (Some students start to play
basketball)
Teacher: Oops! I didn't say "Simon says." Now, let's have a class
discussion. Can anyone share something new they learned
about a hobby today?
Step 6: Homework
Assign homework: Ask students to write a short paragraph
about their own hobby using the target language. They can also
draw a picture to acpany their writing.
Example:
Teacher: For homework, I want you to write a short paragraph
about your own hobby using the target language we've learned
today. You can also draw a picture to go along with your writing.
Don't forget to use sentences like "I " and describe
what you do for your hobby.
六、板书设计:

Play the piano, draw, dance, swim, sing
Play basketball, play soccer, play chess, play puter games
七、教学反思:
通过引入新的词汇和句型,以及多种练习形式,帮助学生学习并运用关于爱好的表达方式。学生在小组合作和角色扮演的活动中积极参与,能够用英语进行简单的交流。然而,部分学生在发音和口语表达方面仍存在困难,需要更多的口语练习和个别指导。在以后的教学中,可以加强口语训练,提供更多的口语机会,帮助学生提高口语表达能力。
