1. Books printed on paper are ________ （easy） shared and retold by anyone.

问题：系动词后面通常用形容词作表语，答案为什么不是easy？ （学生 沈维康）

解答：在做题过程中，一定要看完全句，然后再仔细分析， 确定句子成分。本句的谓语动词是are shared and retold，这是实意动词share 和retell 的被动形式。在句子中修饰实意动词作状语，应当用副词，因此，本题的答案是easily。

2. One father found _______ unique way to show his kids’ growth over the years.

问题：unique是元音字母开头的，应该用an， 为什么用a？ （学生 张宇）

解答：首先我们判断出此空应填不定冠词，因为way是可数名词单数，表示“一种”方法，故此空填不定冠词。然后判断用a还是用an，不是看下一个单词的首字母是不是元音字母，而是看下一个单词读音的第一个音素是不是元音因素。因unique的第一个音素是[j]， 是辅音音素，所以答案应该是a。

3. Thinking of what would be fun and how the toy would look __________ （mean） that the

inventor has to be creative.

问题：句中look应是系动词，其后应当用形容词作表语，为什么答案不是meaningful？

解答：做题过程中，一定要看完全句，然后再仔细分析，确定句子成分。通观全句，我们可以看出thinking of what would be fun and how the toy would look 是句子的主语，what would be

fun and how the toy would look是介词of的宾语，would look 是宾语从句的谓语动词之一，而不是整个句子的谓语动词，系动词look 的表语是how。由此，我们判断出：此空应为谓语动词，结合宾语从句中谓语动词has为一般现在时，并且动名词做主语，谓语动词应为第三人称单数，因此，答案为means。
